- Car and driver for 6 hours, for your group only
- Savoca and Bar Vitelli in Piazza Fossia
- The Chiesa di San Nicolò, the wedding church
- Forza d'Agrò, the Arco Durazzesco and the castle
- A lunch stop at a local place
- A stop in Taormina on the way back, if you like
About this tour
In Savoca you find Bar Vitelli, in Piazza Fossia, one of the film locations, and the Chiesa di San Nicolò, the wedding church. Forza d'Agrò calls itself "the town of the Godfather": the church of the Santissima Annunziata, the Arco Durazzesco and the castle at the top of the village.
At lunch your driver suggests a place and you pay the bill there. On the way back, if there is time, a stop in Taormina. Your driver takes you and waits, but does not explain the places: in the villages you walk on your own.

Good to know
- Bar Vitelli is in Piazza Fossia, in Savoca: it is a seasonal café and may be closed out of season, but you can still see the square and the front.
- Savoca and Forza d'Agrò are hill villages with narrow lanes and steps: your driver drops you at the nearest point open to cars and you continue on foot, so wear comfortable shoes.
- Your driver drives, waits for you and suggests stops and timings, but does not explain the sites: in Italy, by law (Law 190 of 2023), only an authorised guide may do that.
- The tour price does not cover entrance fees: you pay them on site, or online beforehand where the site allows it.
- Pickup at your hotel or address at the agreed time: in historic centres with limited traffic the car comes to your hotel where traffic rules allow, otherwise to the nearest point, agreed beforehand.
- If you arrive by ship, pickup is at the cruise terminal exit or at the port gate agreed when you book: plan the return with a wide margin before all-aboard time.
- The price is per group, not per person: by sedan for 1 to 3 people, by van for up to 8. The tour is private: no other travellers join you.
- You can cancel free of charge up to 120 hours before the day of the tour.
Pickup
Pickup at your hotel or address (Catania, Acireale, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Messina port). Add the exact address in the booking notes.
